Business manager

The Business manager will provide comprehensive project and administrative support to the CEO and other members of Orderzone.com.

Significant software/technology proficiency is required, in addition to uncompromising levels of professionalism and trust.

Work involves extensive use of analytical skills,a solid understanding of marketing principles and keen awareness of various forms of social media.

The position also requires a high degree of collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders.

The work can be of a sensitive and confidential nature involving trade secrets, proprietry designs, confidential client data and company specific intelluctual property.

Fostering sound long-term relationships, both inside and outside the Compnay, is essential to this job.

Job Responsibilities:

Must be able to prepare complex, well-articulated multi-media documents (business proposals, design documents, spread sheets, process mapping, training documents, internal/external business correspondence, etc.)
Able to apply organization skills to set up and maintain complex projects
Ability to coordinate public relations campaigns, social media strategies and other on-line marketing efforts
Must be able to professionally communicate and interact with existing and potential clients
Must be able to work with colleagues in other countries

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree
Minimum two (2) years previous experience as one of the following:
- Executive administrative assistant (technology industry preferred)
- Project Manager
- Executive Coordinator (technology industry preferred)
- Software Architect
- Senior Technical Analyst or Senior Business Analyst

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Attention to detail is essential
Preference will be given to candidates possessing one or more of the following skills:

Web Design (XHTML, CSS, Ajax)
UI Design (focus groups, survey instruments, A/B and multi-variant testing)
Software project management (UML and Gantt)
Marketing project coordination
Website analytics and SEO (statistical methodologies, Google Analytics, PPC)
Marketing via social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter)

Please Note:

Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.

This position is based in downtown Chicago (60601).

This assignment is scheduled to start August 2010.
